A good friend sharpens your character, draws your soul into the light and challenges your heart to love in the greatest ways.
When people ask me "What Do You Do"... I tell them now... "I LIVE MY LIFE WITH MEANING & PURPOSE" I am first and foremost a Mother who will do anything for her blessed daughter ...though a late bloomer to parenthood....I have waited for my baby girl all my life... She entered my world in March of 2012 and without a doubt she is my meaning and purpose to life every day now..... I have had a variety of things through out my career life that have made me who I am today...as an Interior Designer, Sales Associate, Customer Service Representative just to name a few....Also I am passionate about being an advocate and support to those that life with Fibromyalgia/FM AND/OR Myalgic Encephalomyelitis/ME, these are chronic pain conditions that can be severely debilitating but also manageable when educated and self aware.
As someone who lives with these conditions and supporting and trying to understand a family member with the same conditions... I am so very aware of the misconceptions and misunderstandings people have when uneducated about "hidden illnesses" . Never judge a book by its cover...as they say... Infact I have made many friends here on POF who I have helped and touched my life on a daily basis... You know who you are...thank you for your many gifts! We can do anything we set our mind to... Things just may be different in how we achieve them...but make no mistake... I am driven and intend to do as much as I can in my life to support and love my family, my friends and people that touch my life.
Often in life things do not happen the way we had planned them or thought they would go... but on this journey I have come to learn...everything happens for a reason...I am not meant to be with my daughters father.... I am however looking for someone who compliments our lives...has the same views and core values... Having my daughter has taught me just the kind of man I am intended for and more importantly deserving of. I am not opposed to you having children or wanting more... I may be a late bloomer but I've still got a few good years left in me to add to a family if that is important to you! LOL
I want you to be my best friend...and I yours... For there to be no secrets...but complete honesty, love,devotion, trust and of course with a dash of humour and keen witt to add to the mix. You will also value the importance of open communication and be completely comfortable at expressing your feelings. Talking about things does not mean it is drama....a relationship takes work and I am fully prepared to experince the good with the bad....as long as we are by each others side, fully in support of one another.
I am ultimately seeking a man in the range of mid thirties to mid forties....I turn the big 4-0 this year and have come to realize that its important for you to have similar life experiences and interests. This also means this Mama is by no means a hard core partier anymore and especially am not 420 friendly or drug tolerant/or of addictive behaviours. It is key to me that I have people in my life that are good role models around my daughter.
You will make me want to be a better woman, mother, daughter, sister, friends and yes... ultimately one day a better wife...and I hope I will do the same for you.... I still am a romantic at heart and value a lifetime commitment to one another.
