About Me
Its been a long time since I updated this profile. Between work and trying to maintain something of a personal life, time just slips by without so much as a thought and then one day...
I tried to keep my original profile as short and concise as possible thinking that people would want to get a general idea of likes, wishes, desires, wants, needs but it seems as though everyone wants you to pour out your life history on a website page. Sorry, but I am WAY too complicated for that. My life is a tapestry of events, people, places and happenings. It is much more rewarding to have face-to-face time, learning about whom your with, finding out who and what they are, not how they describe themselves. A persons character, their personality, cannot be translated into mere words in a profile. So if you want to know more, we will simply have to "talk", not type. Sure, meeting "behind" the keyboard is the first step but it should be a short one. Just my thoughts...
As for hobbies/interests: I have a very diverse set of likes ranging from science, philosophy, politics, sports, history. I appreciate life and the world around us and admiring it is a great passion. But all of this is richer, more appreciated with a nice woman at your side, a partner and a friend to share thoughts and feelings... to spend a lifetime of quality time with.
Musically, I enjoy most genre but listen most regularly to jazz, country, soul, rock, reggae and some Top 40s. I am just a happy listening to an opera as a K.I.S.S. concert or the local funky band at the bar. The least liked is probably rap as I have no measure to equate any of it to my life.
Very casual outlook on life. Although I have been (and am) very successful in my career, it does not drive me or consume my life. Rather, it is a means to an end (that of relaxation)and not the defining factor.
Have travelled extensively, am well educated, quiet, clean, loyal, romantic. Not into partying at all. If you're looking for a well rounded, respectable, old-fashioned, take-care-of-the-family type of guy, contact me.
