I'm a friendly, fun loving individual who wants to make the most of life, to enjoy the positives and pleasures that life throws our way whilst skilfully navigating the negatives. I don't need much to be happy as long as there's friends to connect with meaningfully, deep conversations and times for random light hearted fun and silliness. And I appreciate many other good things life has to offer, like good food and wine, exploring interesting cities and beautiful countryside, art, music and other cultural stuff :-)
I'm content being single, I have a nice life with good friends, a house and career in science. But while I don't want to rush into a relationship, I think life is much better shared.
In a relationship I'm loving and affectionate, I'm looking for someone who loves me back and wants to share life with me, with enough space that we can do our own things too. I'm looking for a relationship with lots of laughter, love, fun, passion and most importantly companionship. Ultimately I'd love to settle down with someone, and maybe have children or go explore the world, I don't believe my future is written in stone, I'm always open to a new directions and new experiences.
It would be nice to find someone with similar interests, but I don't think that's essential, I think it much more important we find pleasure in each others company when not doing anything in particular. I love music (mostly classical and alternative), art galleries, museums, cake, red wine, historic places, and trips to the theatre and concerts. I go running a couple of times a week to keep fit. Most of all I love spending time with friends, fun conversations over coffee, red wine or food, and good company for holidays and days out to exploring cities, countryside, seaside and foreign countries.
And always happy to make new friends.
