I find that a duck's opinion of me is very much influenced by whether or not I have bread.
I am an active person. Exercise has become very important to me via Muay Thai kickboxing and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. It keeps me very active, works wonders for stress relief and has really become a lifestyle. Training doesn't monopolize my time though. I still enjoy a night out with my friends, gaming, watching the UFC or the Canucks lose. B horror/movies are a favorite of mine as well.
I have a good, but sarcastic, sense of humor. What can I say? It's certainly a product of what I grew up watching. My favorite shows seem to be the ones to get cancelled. My favorite bands are the ones that break up. I will however listen to anything from The Tragically Hip to RATM. I like vending machines because snacks are better when they fall. When I buy a candy bar at a store, sometimes, I'll drop it... so it achieves its maximum flavor potential.
I'd love to travel, who wouldn't? But not to your usual locations or for your usual reasons. I'd love to go to Thailand to get some Muay Thai experience from the source. I'd also love to go to Brazil, again, for the world class level of training of Jiu Jitsu there. The fact they both have beautiful beaches doesn't hurt either. And I hate it when my foot falls asleep during the day because that means it's going to be up all night.
What am I looking For? If you have an active lifestyle that is as important to you as my own is to me, a passion/hobby in life that keeps you busy, and your idea of fun isn't always at a club or bar, we should chat.
Head over to Grouse Mountain in Vancouver to do the Grouse Grind, doesn't that sound like an adventure? Or instead talking about ourselves like we're applying for a job, we could interact with each other. I'd like to learn about a passion in your life, and I'd teach you about one in my own.
