I was born and raised in Portland and currently live in Olympia. I've had many adventures over the past ten years, including park rangering, grad school, music and theatre performance, and more! I work in the mental health and social services field helping families and youth in crisis. I do my best to keep work and play in balance. Life is short. Live to enjoy the moment!
My hobbies and interests include: playing drums/percussion/guitar/bass, songwriting and singing, acting/theatre, improvisation, cooking, gardening, running, exercising, outdoor recreation and adventures, laughing, loving, education and life long learning, personal growth, and working for a positive social purpose and life mission that benefits people and communities.
My goals and aspirations are connected to being the change I want to see in the world. My hopes are to inspire creativity, compassion, empathy, healing, and a meaningful life purpose within my circle of friends, family, and community. I do this through music, creative arts, performance, humor, outdoors in nature, entrepreneurship, and social services.
I'm a strong, intelligent, caring, and creative guy with a fiery heart and soul! I like to feel good chemistry, connection, and passion with a woman.
My taste in music ranges across the genres, from indie and hard rock, to industrial/techno, hip hop, jazz, funk, blues, and more.
I love this quote: "The aim of life is to live, and to live means to be aware, joyously, drunkenly, serenely, divinely aware." -Henry Miller
Conversation Starters (i.e. what you'd like to do on a first date...)
I think a first date can be formal or informal depending on what feels right in the moment and based on what the people involved want and need. It could be spontaneous and unconventional or well-planned. It might involve good food, drinks, coffee, movies, theatre, live music, conversation, adventures, outdoors, indoors, and anything or everything in between! Life is short and we only live once -- so make the best of it!
