About Me
There is no blueprint for how to solve one of life's toughest challenges, and that is finding the right person to be with, to provide support for and receive it from. Someone who knows what you're thinking, and how to make you happy...someone you can TRUST.
I'm not looking for any one night stands - I don't play games, and I'm not looking for someone who holds materialism anywhere near the top of their list. I know what I want, and I'm very serious about it. I have a solid profession but I am always striving for more - I run my own business on the side which I also love and both jobs seem more like a hobby to me than work!
I'm at a point in my life where I'm looking for someone with the same qualities as I believe I possess, such as honesty, sensitivity, loyalty, a great sense of humour, and she would have to agree to the 3 most important things in a relationship - communication, TRUST, and cuddling (ok, cuddling isn't most important, but it's right up there, along with being a good kisser)!
I'm no couch potato, but do love spending quiet evenings in front of the fireplace with the right company. I'm told I am a lot of fun - but beware, at first I'm the quiet, shy type....you know what they say!
You don't need to be a great cook - I can handle that, as I take pride in my independence, but love cooking with someone as well - that is very romantic to me.
I have a son who is very important to me - I have him part-time but he's part of the package if you want to get to know me (Don't worry, I'm not looking for a Mom for him - he has a good one!) - if we hit it off, you will meet him too! If you have kids, that won't scare me off. I love all animals, especially dogs, and all animals love me!
I don't do the bar scene, and don't have many male friends because I choose not to - to be honest the way alot of guys are towards women bothers me...I guess I'm old-fashioned that way.
I'm a Virgo, I love to read, write and play the piano, and I'm VERY big on romance. Family is also very important to me.
I'm a kid at heart (and don't look my age because of it!) and love to have fun - life's too short to sweat the small stuff!

First Date
To me the first date is actually the second. The first is just the "meet" to see if there is a connection. What would I do on an actual first date? It depends on my date, and rest assured I'm old fashioned and will treat her with respect. There are far too many guys in here who are into playing games. I take pride in the fact that I'm not one of them.
