About Me
I keep blanking out on this description thingie which is weird, 'cause I'm a writer. But when I get home from working on a computer all day, I don't feel like sitting down again in front of a different computer and describing myself, which is why I use a notebook for my writing these days.

In that notebook you'd find snippets of poetry, erotic and otherwise, musings written while listening to jazz (Ella Fitzgerald and Louis Armstrong, not Miles Davis), doodles of me dancing in my living room while listening to all kinds of rock 'n roll, and bits of essays or stories having to do with my life as a traveller, lover of life, risk-taker and general bon-vivant. Wine, women and song are always appreciated.

I'm tri-lingual: English, French and Dutch, and as I'm currently living in Québec, I'm totally into all things français. I live in a bright apartment, with art and posters on the wall and like to think that brightness is reflected in who I am and how I choose to be with people.

I do have a mild physical disability and a mild stutter, but it don't stop me from doing anything: kayaking, sailing, swimming and plenty more are all fine by me (or just a walk in the rain somewhere under trees). Email contact is always preferred, at first. If you're kind, (com)passionate and of like mind - be in touch!

À la prochaine!

First Date
I'm a romantic realist. You want fireworks on a first date? Go to Parliament Hill on Canada Day. A fire doesn't flare up, searing at the first match: it takes a few sparks first, and tender, loving care to burn hot and long.

A cup of hot chocolate, watching a snowy winter's day pass us by as we get to know each other. That'd be a great start.
