What an interesting question!
The best first dates I have had usually involve ethnic food and many hours of long conversation -- something physical (like miniature golf or playing pool or a walk in a garden) -- they usually allow us to get to know each other, to laugh, to share and to experience something enjoyable together. It should be an occasion where we can get silly and laugh. I might like to try something daring like a hot air balloon ride or a hike to a waterfall -- or we can try something less bold and daring like meeting for a cup of tea then a foreign film, or lecture or concert. I've also experienced art exhibits, skinny dipping and country fair "first dates" but prefer something simple to start. Keep it safe and simple, then let chemistry and KISMET take it from there...
I am really quite open to any and all ideas. Let's just have fun!
