I could best be described as a tall, slim, well-read guy with eclectic interests. My tastes are simple, though I appreciate sophistication. Travel is one of my passions. One of my goals is to visit Europe again. I'm an accomplished amateur saxophonist, though it's been a while since I've performed. I like classical music by Bach and Wagner and 70's and 80's musicians like Abba, Blondie, David Bowie, and Guns N Roses. Historical dramas, sci-fi, and action films are my preferred genres in movies. Some of my favorite films are 2001, Alien, Blade Runner, Terminator, Jaws, Patton, and James Bond. I also enjoy some classic comedies like Mel Brooks films and Airplane.
My preference is to meet a woman who is adventurous, cultured, and enjoys intellectual conversation. Sharing my interests would be a plus, but is not necessary. I'm most attracted to women who are light-hearted and have a whimsical sense of humor. I want someone who likes to be active and have fun, but at the same time doesn't mind staying home and relaxing on a Friday or Saturday night.

First Date
I would talk it over with you before deciding that. I would like to meet in a setting where I can actually carry on a conversation without having to raise my voice, so meeting at a loud bar or a crowded restaurant on a weekend is not ideal. I usually prefer to go dutch when meeting someone for the first time but don't mind paying for you if there is a second date.
