About Me
Hi I'm Jon. I'm originally born and raised in BC, but moved out here to be happily employed with the government.
I describe myself as the dorky, nice guy next door. I may not always be smooth and say the right thing, but I can always be counted on to do the right thing.
As a self described amateur chef, I am passionate about anything food related! I think that everyone needs a creative outlet and cooking lets me express myself. As for my favourite foods, Japanese and Asian food is definitely my kryptonite. It doesnt matter whether I'm in a nice restaurant or a neat hole-in-the-wall, I enjoy making, eating and sharing food with great company.
Keeping active is also very important to me, and you'll typically find me doing some kind of exercise three to five days out of the week. Muay thai and martial arts are my definitely my favourite activities (Hey, I had to pick one stereotype and you definitely don't want me to do your math homework!)
I can't narrow this down to just one quality, but I'm looking for someone with similar values as mine. If you're someone who is generous and caring with friends and family, if you're independent and self disciplined, and if you know how to embrace your playful side, then you may have some of the qualities I'm looking for.
