About Me
I guess this is where I try to sell myself. I’ve been told I’m intelligent, witty, caring, compassionate, good looking, smartly presented and a general all-round star (thanks mum). Basically a fusion of heavy metal and Laura Ashley. A straight, white male (no, I can't dance) but I throw like a girl and get excited by shoe sales. Currently located half-way between Cambridge and Peterborough (not that I plan to be here forever, mind). I love music - particularly the indie/alternative/rock vein, with a bit of blues, classical and drum & bass thrown in. I try to get to gigs when I can, with camera bag when I can be bothered. I also play bass guitar, a bit, but I'm a long way from becoming a rock-star.
Loves: Dingy rock clubs, swanky c o c k tail bars, quirky restaurants, capitals and full-stops.
Hates: Football, trashy nightclubs, football, r'n'b, football.
To be honest I'm not really 'looking' for anything, which might sound like a strange thing to say. If I find my true love then that's great, if I find only new friends then that's good too, if I find nothing then I haven't lost anything. I'll take life as it comes, rather than having preconceived ideas about what it should be giving me. But if you're asking, someone slightly alternative, independent but not obdurate, fun but not flighty, witty and generally delightful would be nice. Satsuma prima donnas, wannabe WAGs and Pop Factor hopefuls less so. Correct use of punctuation, and knowing the difference between there, their and they're would be a bonus. A pulse is optional.
