New to Montreal May '16! Would love to find a walking / patio / foodie partner :)
Mainly speak English, mais j'ai pris treize ans d'immersion Francaise. C'est seulement que ca me fait un autre treize ans depuis la derniere fois que je l'ai vraiment utilizer. I'm pretty rusty on the french; even that sentence, I had to look up a few translated words, but it's fun getting back into it.
I'm from Ottawa, lived a year in each of England and California, then spent the last seven years in Toronto. A huge job opportunity came up here so I made the leap, and am absolutely loving the city so far.
While I did get a degree that could have led elsewhere, instead, a hobby of mine, game design, turned into a full blown professional career and I've been at it for almost eight years now. It's still a ton of work and there's stressful times, but we get to make new worlds and characters and experiences. I appreciate how lucky my situation is, and I couldn't be happier.
As a person, I guess I'd say that I simply enjoy life, do Sunday brunches religiously, watch tv series new and old, putter through my book list semi-regularly, can never get enough spice and love to taste all the food of the world. I'm all about cottage weekends, BBQs, trying random city events, and gathering friends around the table for some cut-throat board games and laughs.
I'm not one for hookup culture; I don't even try to kiss on the first date, haha. I'm looking for something that could become serious, but only with the right girl and chemistry.
So let's sit down for a coffee, joke about life, and see where it goes!
Start simple, like a coffee shop, bubble tea, patio, gelato, whatever floats your boat. If there's chemistry, we can plan a real date with the fun stuff. Maybe I'll take you rock climbing, or spelunking, or to a ping-pong bar. At that point, the world's our oyster.
