Hi, Everybody!
I suppose that I should begin by saying I have a dry and cheeky sense of humour that some people don't get. I enjoy making people laugh and I also like laughing. I find humour in strange places and sometimes I'm the only person in a room to find something funny.
Some activities I enjoy are hiking, camping, swimming, paddling, reading, cooking, movies, live theater, and exploring new places. Doing these activities with friends makes them even more enjoyable. I really enjoy in-depth conversations with other people where we get to explore each other's points of view. I like thinking critically and making arguments but not arguing.
I don't spend lots of time listening to music, but the music I listen to is pretty eclectic and rather classic...Gordon Lightfoot, Harry Belafonte, Ry Cooder, other folks you probably have never heard of. Don't worry, I've probably never heard of the folks you listen to either :)
I am looking for someone who is compassionate, warm and communicative and who will not be afraid to tell me when I'm being ridiculous. That happens occasionally, but not in a bad way. Older people are fine, but please keep in mind I am thinking about dating, not carbon dating. I'd like someone who can decently spell and who knows what grammar is for. That being said, if you do split your infinitives or end sentences with prepositions, that's something I can handle.

I love going for walks and I'm an animal person (dogs over cats...wait, who isn't an animal person?). I like playing board games but I can't play cards, unless it's Go Fish.
