Only stable, very intelligent individuals please(IQ above 140 would be nice)! Not-RELIGIOUS!
Non-religious is not a good description of me, since it only says what I am not, and it seems to confuse religious people, since they keep writing to me wanting to meet. Or is it my user name "Truth Seeker" that confuses religious people? Read carefully then; there is no such thing as a religious truth seeker or freethinker. Atheist is also a poor description, again only saying what is not(Anti-Theist). I am a Free Thinker, pro-reason, pro-truth, pro-facts, pro-peace, pro-small government, etc.. I do not accept negative(non this and that) descriptions. I am OK with being called a Mythicist. I am a spiritually aware person. Religious is the opposite.
I don't like to watch sports on TV, except for the artistic sports, & then rarely. I have no interest in "fashion" or the latest fads of any sort. I wear what is comfortable and mostly non plastic based cloths. Despite being an intense old soul at times, I am also very calm, centered & laid back.
My Mother tells me that the ladies like to know things about me that I may not think are important. She said that instead of just telling about all my interests and what I think about this and that, I should mention that I have kept house plants since my early teens, maybe even earlier. Apparently that means I am a nurturing person. Mom was right, I would not have thought to mention that. No, Mom does not read or edit my profile. She has two computers, that I maintain, but I doubt she has even seen my profile. Some fellows tried to make fun of me when a teenager for having plants??? They also seem to think it isn't cool to play on a swing or to know how to use a sewing machine. Some men are very limited.
I also would only be guessing at how many hammers I have. I now have 6 working chain saws. By working I mean they are ready for work, or just needing something small to be ready. Two are already proven. Three I just cleaned, repaired, and assembled from parts, needing real world testing. One is a girls size McCullough knockoff saw, I also restored ;-) and 5 are Homelite XL-12's that were first made around 1963. I only use them for my firewood, but I sort of became a collector by accident. Only one was in working order when I got it. I repaired all the others and have two more XL-12's needing parts and repairs. I will be picking up another one soon, along with box of parts. Is that handyman enough?
If I find a girlfriend, I promise I will not rebuild them in my kitchen... anymore ;-) I did make one, out of the best parts of two, last winter in my kitchen, and rebuilt a few carburetors, but all the rest were done in my shed. lol All transferred to my shop now, after needed renovations.
I got 8 years great use out of my 1973 built XL-12, so far! That should make a life time supply of chain saws ;-)
Last year I designed an entirely new style of home wind generator that will make far more power than conventional, and most home built, systems. I don't have parts enough yet to build a useful, battery charging small scale model. I also built several GNU/Linux remastered Live DVD's of Debian, Ubuntu LTS, and Mint 9. That was fun.?? Building another remaster of Ubuntu 12.04.1 & Mint 13 (Mate )now(Jan 2013).
Got my winters firewood made. Should have been an easy year for making firewood, but Dad thought it was a good plan to back the tractor into the wood splitter. Big metal ring chains on wheels! I did all the repairs(new gas tank, flex coupling and spider, new pump to engine bracket, air filter cover repaired, hydraulic hose replaced, choke leaver replaced, various parts straightened, oil replaced, crack in engine plugged).... and it is running again, perfectly.
Now I need to get back into the woods and "trip" a bunch of trees for next year. I need someone at home to keep the fire going though.....hint, hint.
