About Me
It's Saturday early evening and I'm in my kitchen with a paintbrush in hand, transforming a "piece of junk" into a masterpiece, good tunes on my Ipod (SRV, Taj Mahal, Sarah Maclaughlin, Bonnie Raitt, The Stones), spaghetti sauce cooking on the stove.... does it get any better than that... it's great, really great.... great thing to do alone.. but what would I be doing with my mate right now... hmm.. will I let you in???
Feeling the need for speed as I get older.. maybe it's realizing that time's flying by too.... I did reach one goal .. yeah.. got a motorcycle.. just learning to ride.. yipppee.. I'm not an adrenalin junkie but I am learning the value of setting and attaining goals..
Besides all the above.. I am a hard working (still) woman who is low maintenance and definitely not into the drama..

After a comment and rereading my profile I decided to add this.. I like to be active but I very much also like my quiet reflective times... the walks, (lots, hence the name), playing crib, having a coffee and a chat, etc.... so, if you are an extrovert and need to get out and/or be with people all the time, we probably aren't a match..
Oh, and, I love animals... and grandbabies..and my kids... and I'm a real softie.. my dog sleeps on my bed and my grandbaby can do damn near anything... I was a little tougher on my kids but they are grown up now and I'm so very proud of them.. and me.. :-) .. in the end I just think it's all about love...
