Whenever I do these I always seem to forget something so hopefully you'll contact me and find out. With that said I am a very friendly person who is looking for a long-term healthy relationship (that's right... affection, communication, helping each other learn and achieve each others goals and passions) with marriage and kids down the road. I love to read whether it's a narrative (yup, I said that instead of story), a magazine (business or general social/political issues) and I love to write even more. I've been doing creative writing since I was in grade school. I write poetry and short stories and look forward to writing a full fledged novel in the future. When I was a kid I was far from it but I have become confidant and athletic and it's taken some time. I love discussing a VERY wide range of topics with just about anyone and also enjoy teaching people what I know about those topics. If someone develops a broader perspective and deeper understanding about something because of me I'm really psyched (you read right, a 34 yr old guy used "psyched"). I also love making people laugh and I have no issue at all about making myself look silly in the process... actually it's often more fun that way. I am open-minded, laid back, optimistic, caring, educated (bachelors in global business with a major in marketing from ASUWest), a non-commitment phobic, non-materialistic (if you are concerned about how much I make to know if you'll be interested in me then you probably won't be and I know I wont be interested in you), sarcastic (but I'm not being sarcastic about my qualities), persistent (I've completely ready to just keep up, and keep up, and keep up with that word) with a view of the world that even my friends and family will admit is simply different and I'm a master of run on sentences (my degree is in business, no grammar or spelling... that's what the spelling/grammar auto-check handicap is designed for d--n it).
This is a fabulous trick question. How could I possibly know what the perfect first date would be if I unless I know who I'm going out with? But I suppose a good generic one would simply be a coffee date so we can wet our whistle while we get buzzed on caffeine and get to know each other. Then the next day we can call each other and see what we recall about the date through the dissipation of the cloud the caffeine put our heads in. The kind of woman I'm looking for is optimistic, looking for eventual marriage and kids, open-minded, confidant (that also means not jealous), intelligent, laid back, non-materialistic, affectionate, can either handle sarcasm or is a user of it herself and can handle my crappy grammar and spelling.
