Alright, so - for the tl;dr folks among us, here's the sparknotes version of my life.
- What I am:
I save ants and spiders and fruit flies, I hate wearing socks and shoes, I still play pokemon on a daily basis, and I'm a hopelessly hopeful romantic. I'm a vegan and a feminist, my cats are the loves of my life, and I'm a curvy ginger, who doesn't buy into the Barbie doll image that society seems so smitten with - so if you're looking for someone who self-defines by her immaculate blond hair, then you'd best look somewhere else.
- What I'm looking for:
A guy who's pro-choice and queer-friendly, and thinks that everyone has the right to get married, regardless of sexual orientation. Someone who'll take me for walks in the rain, and who will think my geekiness is endearing, instead of creepy. Someone open-minded and accepting, who at least cares about all the nasty craziness going on in the world... and did I mention going for walks in the rain?

Alright! Also, here we have the less tl;dr version of my life.
I'm looking for someone mature and intelligent, who appreciates the little things in life, and knows how to treat people with respect and kindness. Also, some sappy romance is a must, cause I'm honestly the most hopelessly romantic person I know, and the tiniest gestures of affection can often make me ridiculously happy.
I'm about 5'3" with red hair, so I suppose I fit the spitfire ginger stereotype. I like to sing and laugh, go for hot chocolate at midnight, walk/sing/dance in the rain, and take photos of absolutely everything. I also attempt to appreciate every single day - no matter how cliché that sounds - because life really is much too short to take it for granted. Also, most people don't really get my sense of humour, and I've been informed many times that I'm quirky as hell - so if you also self-define as more than a wee bit eccentric, then we'll probably click just fine.
Other than that, if you're looking for one night, don't bother sending me a message, cause I'm interested in something more than just an hour between the sheets. Also, if 'that's so gay' is your favourite expression, or you think that Sarah Palin is some fantastic feminist role model for young women, then I guarantee that we will not get along. I have no use for regressive right-wing policy, and that woman's crazy conservative fanaticism scares the hell out of me.

First Date
Anything that actually gives us a chance to talk. Maybe a nice (caffeine-free) tea 'n (gluten-free) cookies excursion to a coffee place, followed by some (lactose-free) hot chocolate and a walk in the snow. Or the rain. Did I mention that I'm incredibly fond of the rain? Rain and wind make for an awesome combination... honestly, as long as it's raining, I'm a happy woman.
