About Me
What am I looking for? A best friend, a serious relationship, happily ever after...but let's face it, THAT'S not gonna happen over night!! LOL So for now I'll settle for a few dates, fun times, a night out and who knows what might come from that :) maybe even a good friend.
I have a good job but am currently on leave studying French. I'm interested in meeting someone I have things in common with, yet someone who can turn me on to new things too. I've been known to have a weak spot for the brainy type - political opinions, current affairs, an expert in your chosen field. But you have to have a good sense of humor too. I love to joke and have fun.
I like to go out and get involved with life...drinks with friends, a big walk with the dogs, a day trip somewhere different, take in a concert or a play...and I'll take off on vacation as often as my budget will allow! :) I LOVE watching basketball. I enjoy travelling to a few NBA games with my son each year. I also go to the local Rainmen games which would be a fun date if you don't mind me cheering like crazy! I do have a gym membership but I'm not looking for someone who does an intensive work out every day.
I like learning about differnet cultures and expanding my world view. I'm looking for a man who enjoys the same. Essentially my "perfect" man would be employed, smart, funny, handsome, enjoy kids and dogs. If you fit the bill on all of these, message me...quick! I have a son who is a good kid (does well in school and is considered polite by adults who meet him, but is addicted to video games, basketball and sneakers!) He is "cool" with the idea of his mom dating. I'm just being up front and honest right from the start, but since for now we're only talking about a casual coffee/tea or a drink at a pub, this certainly won't be of immediate concern. I'm comfortable dating men who have children of their own, and although either of us having kids can be a challenge for a long-term relationship, for the right man, I'm up for it!
