I really don't like this part, hard to describe myself, I don't really like sports, I like country music,going for drives, spending quiet evenings at home,spending time with my family,Just started trying to do a bit of fixing up (where I live and me,lol)..And have found I enjoy it :).. Recently came across this,and it fits where I am right now.
"I may not be the most beautiful or sexiest nor do I have the"perfect body". I might not be someones first choice, but I'm a great choice. I don't pretend to be someone I'm not, because I'm good at being me. I'm not proud of some of the things I've done in the past, but I'm proud of who I am today. Take me as I am or watch me as I walk away"..
And another one

This is me damn it! I look the way I look, think the way I think,
feel the way I feel, love the way I love! I am a whole
complex package. Take me... or leave me. Accept me - or walk away!

Haven't done much in the way of traveling, But find as I get older I would like to..I feel it's time to start enjoying life and trying new things.
I am actually very happy and content with my life. Just hoping to share a bit of it with someone :)
I have a kinda weird sense of humor-if I inadvertently offend you--its an oops and not intentional-if your extremely sensitive to that..then pass by..A sense of humor is essential with me.
And now for something completely different.....

The story is told of a king in Africa who had a close friend with whom he grew up. The friend had a habit of looking at every situation that ever occurred in his life (positive or negative) and remarking, "This is good!"
One day the king and his friend were out on a hunting expedition. The friend would load and prepare the guns for the king. The friend had apparently done something wrong in preparing one of the guns, for after taking the gun from his friend, the king fired it and his thumb was blown off. Examining the situation, the friend remarked as usual, "This is good!"
To which the king replied - "No, this is not good!" and proceeded to send his friend to jail.
About a year later, the king was hunting in an area that he should have known to stay clear of. Cannibals captured him and took him to their village. They tied his hands, stacked some wood, set up a stake and bound him to the stake.
As they came near to set fire to the wood, they noticed that the king was missing a thumb. Being superstitious, they never ate anyone who was less than whole. So untying the king, they sent him on his way.
As he returned home, he was reminded of the event that had taken his thumb and felt remorse for his treatment of his friend. He went immediately to the jail to speak with his friend.
"You were right," he said, "it was good that my thumb was blown off." And he proceeded to tell the friend all that had just happened." And so, I am very sorry for sending you to jail for so long. It was bad for me to do this."
"No," his friend replied, "This is good!"
"What do you mean, 'This is good'? How could it be good that I sent my friend to jail for a year?"
"If I had not been in jail, I would have been with you, and not here with you right now."
"Absolutely everything happens for a purpose; and out of what seems like adversity at the time; always comes good".
I have on here that I want to date but nothing serious,Only because I don't believe they have enough options, to begin with I just want friends..if ONE of those friendship evolves into more-Then that's great..But any relationship includes friendship. if that's as far as it goes..'This is good' :)...friends are good to have.
