About Me
What can I say, I'm short, geeky and hopeful. My friends mean the world to me and I'm lucky to have good ones - any day I can make a new friend is a great day.
My work usually involves computers and numbers so I've recently started learning woodwork to satisfy a desire to do something practical with my free time and actually make something with my hands.
Of course at the moment what I'm making is mostly pieces of wood cut badly into smaller pieces of wood, but I've got to start somewhere :)
Other things I enjoy in my free time include gaming (including board and card games played with friends as well as computer/console ones) and reading a lot of SF and fantasy novels - well I did say I was geeky ;)
I'm a bit shy around new people but I open up once I'm more familiar, though obviously the being shy makes meeting the new people in the first place rather fraught!
I'm looking to meet that special someone. Someone to share fun and laughs with, to cuddle and be with, to talk long into the night with. Corny? Perhaps, but I'm still hopeful.

First Date
Friendly pub or restaurant - or perhaps a stroll if the weather was nice (ha! not much chance of that it seems). The most important thing for me is that it's somewhere you can talk; difficult to get to know someone if you can't hear what they're saying!
