Something new, I have recently purchased a good juicer, and swear by fresh RAW vegetable and/or fruit juice now. YUMMY, and healthy.
Beard is back.
Oh, Yeah, the beard is gone.
Beard is back.
This is getting to be annoying.
I have spent much of my life traveling and have been to some of the most beautiful places in the world. During the 80s I took up the cause of veganism and helped to spread the message of eat your fruits and veggies to many people. Although I am no longer vegan my favorite foods are such as avocados, oranges and Thia cuisine.
I have always been the type of person that when I find, say, my favorite park benched trashed, I pick up the trash instead of whining about it. Lately in life however I have found myself expressing directly to people that spit in front of me, that it is equivalent to diarrhea of the mouth and to take their bodily fluids to a restroom as I don't want to see it.
Oh yeah, I love Red Heads and Brunettes with curves most.
I am the type of person that tries to make people smile and enjoy their day. When a person goes into say a 7-11 in the morning to get their coffee if you say or do something to upset them because you are running late, or you are in road rage mode from the car that cut you off, and you spread your road rage to the person behind the counter they may spread that negativity to many others, and that is not a well rounded thing to do, but if you can make them smile they will spread that happiness instead, and that is a much better contribution to society.
My eyes also change color depending on my mood. At one end of the scale is gray/blue when I feel very good and/or am talking with God or Nature they are gray.
At the other end I was told by a young lady that grabbed me and held me tightly in a bear hug that she knew I was angry and about to reach out and touch someone because she saw my eyes change to yellow.
Although I grew up in Santa Barbara, CA I have called Seattle and area home base since 1980.
Someone on POF asked me why I am so deep and what a complement. Most often the best water comes from deep wells and they are the only ones that count in a drought.
The song Desperado by the Eagles really suits me, as I often find myself in the rain and bright sunshine at the same time, among other things sung in that song such as, out riding fences for so long now.
I will get back to this in a while
The Passionate Shepherd to His Love
COME live with me and be my Love,
And we will all the pleasures prove
That hills and valleys, dale and field,
And all the craggy mountains yield.
There will we sit upon the rocks
And see the shepherds feed their flocks,
By shallow rivers, to whose falls
Melodious birds sing madrigals.
There will I make thee beds of roses
And a thousand fragrant posies,
A cap of flowers, and a kirtle
Embroider'd all with leaves of myrtle.
A gown made of the finest wool
Which from our pretty lambs we pull,
Fair linèd slippers for the cold,
With buckles of the purest gold.
A belt of straw and ivy buds
With coral clasps and amber studs:
And if these pleasures may thee move,
Come live with me and be my Love.
Thy silver dishes for thy meat
As precious as the gods do eat,
Shall on an ivory table be
Prepared each day for thee and me.
The shepherd swains shall dance and sing
For thy delight each May-morning:
If these delights thy mind may move,
Then live with me and be my Love.
First dates are basically meet and greets so keep it simple coffee or maybe drinks. Second dates are where we can be ourselves more easily have a alcoholic beverage sing Karaoke, see a movie or something like that.
There are tons of fun things to do in Seattle.
I love going to the comedy clubs in the Seattle area and these can be any where in the dating schedule from after the meet and greet on.
I have also been known to up and fly to Las Vegas or Mazatlan because I was going by the airport, but I would not ask anyone to hop on a plane and go to Vegas spur of the moment unless we were getting along really well.
Something else that is really fun to do is hop on the Amtrak and go to San Francisco then make sure you are on the Coastal San Fan to San Diego run leaving San Fran in the Early morning before dawn and getting into San Diego about night fall, a very beautiful trip.
Of course the Ferry from Seattle to Bremerton and back is also a very beautiful trip, and only takes 3 hours. Seattle as seen from a Ferry when you can see Mt. Rainer, the Cascades and the Olympics is the most beautiful city I have ever seen, but I have not been everywhere yet.
A good say 10th date or so is a day trip around 101 on the Olympic Peninsula.
And a must do for anyone I was seriously dating is a trip to Cougar Hot Springs (Terwilliger) 50 mile east of Eugene Or. is a must. It is one of the most beautiful places in the world.
The Oregon Coast and whale watching are also good dates for people that have gotten to know each other, but first dates? Not Starbucks, maybe a Tully's.
