I try to keep my work and personal life separate but it isn't easy. With my job at a great Metropolitan newspaper I'm always meeting interesting people, getting in and out of dangerous situations, but between all of that and my…. uh…. hobbies I don't have much time for hitting the clubs.
When I do get dressed up some women throw themselves at me, but I'm just a mild mannered guy from a small town Kansas so I'm not into that kind of thing. I prefer Truth, Justice and the American way.
I'm looking for a girl who won't ask too many questions when I suddenly have to pick up my dry cleaning or get something from the office while we're out on a date; the kind of girl who doesn't ask me to take off my glasses while we're making out.
It's probably fair to warn you that the last girl I went out with was kidnapped on more than one occasion. And I hope you're not the jealous type, because Lois and I still work together.
On the plus side, I have a piercing gaze-which I sometimes have to restrain-and I always have cool breath.
I know I'll Hear from you soon,
Lets start with this: sometimes two people will meet and have coffee after chatting online. That's not the first date. That's just the interview to see if you're qualified to get the date. I wish it didn't have to be so, but, alas, ladies we gentelmen cannot afford the time and cost to take you all out on the town.
But the first date, the real one, is better. I don't like to repeat myself when dating; It's best to try something new each time. besides, each different girl needs a different first date. Maybe it's seeing a band you've never heard of. Or a trip to a Thai restaurant. Or rollerblading on the river shore.
