About Me
I am fortunate to have a great job and have had a number of interesting things that have happened to me throughout my career. I enjoy good conversation and have an interest in people in other walks of life. I like an easy going, laid back person with a great sense of humour.I enjoy peace and quiet as well as certain types of social activities, reading almost anything I can get my hands on (sorry, not Harlequin....I have to draw a line !!), busy with odd jobs around the house that never seem to get caught up, taking my golden retriever for long walks on a great local trail system. I enjoy watching sports (hockey,football,olympics, action movies) as well as playing golf. I enjoy cooking and remain actively involved in watching my grownup kids in their various sporting endeavours. I would like to meet an attractive (to me),intelligent, personable woman who is sensitive, affectionate, funny and most importantly has common sense, honesty,loyalty and decency. I am looking for that special woman to share further life experiences, challenge me and be challenged herself in goals and interests. I am currently working as an academic instructor at Durham College, teaching mature students in a specialized field. This has opened the door to put in place some challenging projects in the works that relate to cybercrime and new methods of learning. I tend to be a big picture person with good ideas and fortunately able to work with those more adept at putting them into motion. I find myself busy with "to do" lists but seek that individual someone to share ideas and new things to expand my horizons. I love the country/small town atmosphere, hot-tubbing, swimming, good conversation, problem solving and spontaneous "moments" of mutual agreement that add a spice to life, new places, new experiences.
