I just moved to Kansas after living in Florida for 1.5 years, and California for 51 years. I consider myself conservative but middle of the road. Some issues I am to the right, some to the left, some in the middle. I don't follow the party line. I don't mind discussing the issues. Everyone has a right to their beliefs and we can "agree to disagree" as long as you don't try to change me.
I am a Radar Systems Engineer newly hired. I grew up in the 60's and 70's. I am not into Rap, Reggae, Hip-Hop or Country. I prefer Classic Rock or Jazz. I played trumpet and sang Bass for a while. I have a well-rounded education, self-made Engineer and had a great family with values. I can talk about a lot of things or just remain quiet and listen. I tend to prefer small, intimate groups and friends vs. large, loud crowds. I can enjoy a BBQ or a day at the museum. I enjoy going to baseball games as well.
I enjoy traveling, fishing, hanging out by the lake, indoors, outdoors. I've been to seven countries (Mexico, Virgin Islands, Canada, Taiwan, France, Israel, Romania) and, according to Travel Advisor, about 550 cities in the USA. I am good at DIY. I don't do gardening or shopping well, but I will go. I enjoy ballroom dance but I am rusty and I am taking lessons again. I do know how to cook, iron, wash, etc. I am not cut out as a total houseboy, however. I prefer to share responsibilities, not take them all on or have them piled on me.
We all have our "Wish List". I'm not looking for Twiggy, or a Model, nor Pamela Anderson. I'm a Realist. I don't want "Some young Thing". It's not my style. In fact, I like women about my age range. I don't mind if you smoke occasionally, just not drugs or a lot of alcohol.
What I dis-like:
If you play games or really don't intend to meet or talk, be honest with me and yourself and don't inquire or respond. No cheaters, serial daters, looking for a Sugar Daddy (I don't have the income for it to begin with), etc.
PLEASE no one with male issues / co-dependencies / excessive baggage (we all come with SOME, just not a LOT). If you are overly-opinionated, controlling, have to have things your way, etc. please move on. I don't tolerate dis-respect or co-dependent behavior. I respect others and do not use every other word that starts with the letter "F". That's my upbringing. I don't like being around others who do either. That is a deal breaker. This also applies to your kids if you have any.
I don’t ride motorcycles, and I don’t frequent biker bars. I don’t own a yacht nor do I intend to. I don’t like body mutilation like piercings of the nose, tongue, lip, tattoos, etc.
