About Me
I take the road less traveled. I backpacked through Southeast Asia after University and ended up living in three different countries on three different continents over five years (none of which were in SE Asia), visiting numerous countries along the way. I'm now settled back in Canada but have yet to shake the travel bug...I recently relocated to Halifax in an attempt to see a little more of my own country.
I have a ridiculous ability to remember song lyrics - a couple of listens and I can generally sing along. Unfortunately for you, that means I'm pretty much singing constantly (but this comes in very handy in music trivia situations). Unfortunately for me, my gift knows no boundaries and I've been caught humming Miley Cyrus in public on several occasions - cute if you're 12, embarrassing if you're 34.
I have a wicked arm and decent bat but my golf swing is less accomplished. I'll take an iPod & rollerblades over a sofa & TV any day.
I can be stubborn (but like to think this is endearing) and generally think there is nothing I can't accomplish if I put my mind to it. I've been proven wrong many times (and reluctantly accept help in these humbling moments) but that doesn't stop me from being utterly convinced that next time will be different.
