As we travel through life, we gained innumerable experiences. Some good, some not so good. But we always or should learn from them, the assumption being, we wont make the same mistake again. However we are only human and are therefore fallible. Relationships are like the seasons of the year. Spring, brings internal optimism. Summer, we reap this optimism and enjoy the bounty. Autumn is a time of reflection. Winter, is usually where things have gone wrong and were alone again.
The past has taught us that when something is at the end, it is better to let it Burn. No point in attempting to fix something, we know in our heart is over, that only per longs the pain. Yet we are social creatures and love nothing more than to be with someone whom we believe we can form some form of relationship. Whether it is as a friend or a lover. Living with memories of the past can sometimes hinder the possibilities of the future. We are all unique individuals and we all have our faults. Sometimes the hardest part is admitting our failings and learning from them.
If one is honest with oneself, were missing that Buzz!!!. You know that thing that makes your life interesting. Thinking about someone else, wondering how they are. Do they need a shoulder to cry on or a good listener and vice versa. Being fair but also being strong when one has to. Knowing our relationship is going to be built on solid foundation of mutual respect of each other. Then enjoying and savouring those special moments with that person. Its call passion and I love it. Those little surprises out the blue. Realising that a relationship is not something stuck in sand, but an ever evolving, fluid and a source of creativity of when 2 people share a bond. If one or both of you become complacent, then your taking each other for granted and that’s the biggest mistake you can ever make.
