I work at a job I like here in Kingston. This Month (January) I'll have been living in Kingston for one year!!, time flies!!! I own a home in Belleville and I rent it: its a long story..... I lived in Belleville for over 9 years before i moved to K-town. OK, OK, I admit this sounds confusing, but the rental pays for the house and my retirement at the same time.
I went to see John Pinette at the Empire Theater (Belleville) and laughed for the entire 2 hour show! His skits about the wizard of oz buffet. If I could add it to my profile, I would. He's hilarious! When ever he said his tag line "get out of the line" I thought I'd split a gut! I like small town theater - The Thousand Islands Playhouse rocks!
OK, so what should I say about myself…I am outgoing, self-confident person, love to go out with friends, have fun! (Trite - Who doesn’t!?) I love adventures and try new things in my life, stay active. My taste in music has lots of range, however country music has never been a favorite of mine. I can go to the cottage and turn on some classics or classic rock while I work.
I stay active. I love to hike in the summer and I'm a past member of the Alpine Club of Canada. I've been hiking in the Presidential Range in NH & Hiked up to the Summit of Mount Jefferson. Am I looking for an activity partner, no, We all have our hobbies and I'm just excited to talk about mine. I've come to appreciate that life only stops being fun when you want it to.
I'm adding more to my bucket list;
Want to head to the Grand Canyon and see that new glass observation bridge/platform.
I'd rather "do something" for my birthday than just have a party/cake (chocolate is my fav. by the way).
my 20s & 30s saw me bike through MA, NY, PQ, NS, AB
39 up in a hot air balloon,
40 jump out of a plane at 9,000 ft, (would love to do it again)
41 spend a week in Ireland,
42 hiking in Frontenac Park, hiking Lemoine Point Conservation Area
43 hiking in the Presidential Range in New Hampshire, hiking Landons Bay
44 London & Oxford, England in June of 2010.
45 Hiked Frontenac Park again.

I like going to comedy clubs, casual diners, Just casually listening to classic rock with a friend, checking out new places or going to a baseball game... Life is enjoyable doing simple things like a conversation on a patio in the summer or just a quiet walk by the water.
