Just relocated from Portland, Oregon. The photos of me are horrible. Yes, I clean up real nicely. My grandson is here so I'm going to stay a while. Looking to meet a woman in her forties or fifties that can tolerate a reasonably good looking guy with blue eyes and a sense of humor, graying hair, a tender and affectionate heart, and a flair for enjoying life. I'm not seeking a "10" of body, but a "10" of the heart instead. I am retired military (Air Force), pursuing a career in healthcare as a nursing assistant, and perhaps an RN. My life experiences are unusual and diverse. Outgoing A-type personality I am, but I have my shy side too. Love to sleep in and make love on Saturday mornings, or get up at 4:00 am and head for a ballgame in Kansas City. Like to cook, clean house, and collect antiques. Love to fish. Love horses. Many interests and hobbies. I like to try and make the most out of every day, but when it's time to relax and snuggle up together that's just fine with me. I will tell you up front I recently "started my life over again", A LONG AND NASTY STORY I will spare you from, but I am not on the rebound. Feet firmly planted. I have my sense of humor, my loving heart, a monthly retirement check, and my dignity. Can't put a price tag on one's dignity. I love to communicate, and be affectionate. Romance is essential for an intimate relationshgip. Good lover. Good friend and companion. I'm not a player, or a clown. No big issues or dysfunctional stuff here. I pratice and encourage honesty in relationships of any type. I'm not "looking", or trolling, per se, for a long term relationship, just taking one day at a time. Surprise me. E-mail me. Let's chat...
Conversation Starters (i.e. what you'd like to do on a first date...)
First date? Hmmm, that would depend upon whom I am taking out. It's important to try and get to know a little about a person first. I like adventure and surprises too, but sometimes we need something casual and relaxing. You can't go wrong at a fine restaraunt, but I think an evening cruise on a paddle boat on the missouri river, with dinner and dancing, wouldn't be a bad idea either. But if she's an outdoorswoman, heck, let's go fishing or take a weekend hunting fossils. Horses? We'll Cowboy Up! Hot tub and champagne in the winter, anyone? Like science and museums? So do I. Maybe a cozy breakfast at the Hay Market followed by a day of casual browsing and shopping would be enjoyable. Maybe a zoo trip. Perhaps a dinner at her place (I'm currently staying with my son and family) with wine and a DVD? I'll help cook, or you can teach meyour secrets. A wine tasting tour would be different, eh? Or a springtime picnic at a lake. I sure like to eat though, (no I'm not fat) so having dinner can be fun and a great way to determine if I'm a darling, or a dud.
