About Me
I have recently returned to California after 5 years in Ohio and it is SO good to be home.
I have 3 sons, ages 37, 23 & 20. Oldest and youngest are here in California, middle one is in school in Ohio. I was blessed with my first grandchild, a little girl that has been confirmed to be God's gift to the world! Well, at least I think so.
I am independent, easy to get along with, honest and outgoing, funny with a slightly sarcastic (but not mean) sense of humor. I am quick to put the other person first, I will share about anything I have, and I will give anyone the benefit of the doubt until I have a reason not to. I enjoy good conversation, casinos, San Francisco, flea markets, motorcycles, country music concerts, reading, jigsaw puzzles, and a occasional night out on the town, among other things.
I believe you either laugh or you cry - you must do one and you can only do one at a time. I choose to laugh every chance I get.
I worked in the legal field for 30+ years, but havent gotten back to it since returning to California. I recently started Humphreys College - scary and challenging since I havent been in school for numerous decades!
I am looking forward to finding someone to share things with - a joke, a Christmas gift, a sunset, a walk in the rain, a bad day at work. Someone with similar interests -- and someone willing to try new adventures - big or small. Someone who knows that often its the little things that really matter. Also someone who understands that the great things come in different packages. The package is changeable, what is inside usually remains pretty much the same. And though I have been out of the 'dating scene' for a while, I saw very quickly how many things have changed. Some things, for me at least, have remained the same. I have slightly old fashioned views on some things that coincide with my self-respect.
