About Me
Below is what I originally wrote for my profile. However circumstances,particularly health have forced me to change my expectations from sites like these.
I no longer have the energy, enthusiasm or drive to travel halfway round the south of England only for one/both of us to be disappointed, it is a very addictive and destructive process.
So, after many abortive attempts, I have decided to give up the travelling bit completely. Unfortunately getting off of here has proved much more difficult than getting on,and I do still dabble :)occasionally just in case.
A profound apology to those who have written recently but I have enough email friends and must stop somewhere. I do have a life off of here!!!!
Anyway good luck with your own search for whatever it is you are looking for.
Ladies!!!! one tip!! don't be unrealistic about the age group you are looking for, just be sensible.

This is hard!! Retired engineer,wicked sense of humour,no hangups,baggage or vices that I'm aware of. Reasonably good looking, a bit overweight but working on it!!! I'm solvent with a good standard of living but missing that special person( had it once but lost it to cancer 14 years ago) to share the fun bits in the later stages of life. I would like to travel more but prefer to do things as couple.
A pleasure shared is much better than alone!!!!!!!!!!!!!
By the way first two photos are a couple of years old, the car isn't mine but the dog is
