About Me
It seems that I come here once a year, or so, and “update.” Here’s the latest (intro remains the same).
POF informs me that if I want to be successful and if I don’t want to waste my time then I should talk about my hobbies my goals/aspirations myself (what makes me unique) and my taste in music.
Well, wasting time is sometimes not such a bad thing, and when there’s time to be wasted it can be nice to have something to waste it away with. However, who am I to question the advice of POF? After all, even with an attitude of nonchalance (or indifference) to the sanctity of time, it still remains true that I do indeed wish to be “successful.” So, in reverse order…
UPDATED Sept 20/11: My Taste in Music:
Eclectic; not moved by classical, don’t care for the country. Music is BIG in my life. I can’t play, can’t sing (and, don’t dance), but I’m a great listener and I listen to it all the time. Fav genres? NEW music!! Plus, ‘90’s grunge, r & b, ‘70’s soul, alt. rock, hip hop. All-time Fav artists? EMINEM, Springsteen, Dylan, VAN MORRISON, Neil Young, Knaan, Dr Dre, NICK CAVE!! Current favs? Nicki Minaj, Arcade Fire, Kanye West, Yuck, Kings of Leon. Etc and son on.
UPDATED Sept 20/11: My Goals/Aspirations:
1) Stay Happy!
2) Finishing workin’ on the effin’ house! (reality: I will never finish workin’ on the effin' house!
3) Learn MORE.

The unsolved murder of Jonbenet Ramsey (not so much, anymore); telling it like it is (it’s like THIS!); writing, reading, watching, listening, listening, listening; the creative process, the human mind, the objective and the subjective; the Canucks; making memories; Laughing My A** Off; finding my car keys AND trying to remember what I was going to do when I….?

I work a swing shift – two weeks of this and two weeks of that – so, everything has to fit into that… but, since I have diligently and conscientiously followed the advice of POF I am confident that even with the swing shift debacle – two weeks of this and two weeks of that – all will work out to my end and I will be successful! Or, maybe not….??
