About Me
An attempt at a pre-emptive profile. What’s a pre-emptive profile? Basically a profile which gets rid of all the usual talk which takes a couple of days to go through and then after that ...you don't hear from each other again.
Anyway, I’m a laid back person with good sense of humour. Into computers etc, can't take idiots seriously. I love women who can think for themselves, the more devious the woman the better. Love watching Scrubs, Prison Break or yes and watching Footie Matches : ) (Come on you Reds!!!). Love cooking and having in depth conversations about ...anything really!!! Music I like: U2, Killers (to name a few)
Someone said to me once (maybe more!) there is no mention in my profile of what I am looking for. Ok then ... many years ago myself and another woman were emailing each other. These emails we were sending each other were our thoughts and it seemed and felt that they were being teleported to each other. These emails were funny, sensitive, sensible, insensible, sexy, thoughtful, pro-vocative and intimate. They were the meeting of two minds. We met up and what we experienced online came into being in the real world. Everything was great : )... Did I mention the fact that she was married...err nope. Had the spill from her she was going to leave him etc... anyway her other half find out...and well..lets say that after all the promises about us being together etc did not materialise : ) But, you are asking yourself...what has all this got to do with anything? Well,(fanfare of trumpets), what I am after is that connectivity I said at the beginning : ): ) ...also someone who is NOT married : ): )
Update : I have read quite a few profiles where women are stating that men are cheats, liars etc etc and I thought I would comment on this. There is a book out called Why Women Have Sex. Apparently they quizzed 1,000 women, it highlights 200 reasons why girls agree to a romp. They include beating boredom and "because he bought me a nice dinner"!!! Around 84 per cent of those surveyed admitted to having sex in return for getting household chores done or simply for a quiet life !!! Others do it to CURE a headache, as an excuse to avoid dinner dates or even to make a partner jealous through cheating. I just thought I share this with you POF's : ) Also for women who berate the fact that someone adds them as a favourite and they do not contact them, it means that for some reason they cannot i.e. you may have a restriction in place or maybe they just compiling the top ten of POF babes (yes I know that may be interpreted as chauvinist...and your point is...!! )
Update the update above with a new update: If I get on with any people then I have no hesitation in sending photos (which I have done..however I don't do repeats : ) ). However I am here for people that are not shallow enough that they care about looks. I do find it ironic though that people go on about having no pics etc when they have their own filtering system set up so when they do go and view someone, that someone does not know they have been viewed!!!
New Update: Love reading peoples profiles : ) read someones profile the other day where she says shes looking for a European Caucasian LOL and quite a few saying where have all the good men gone ROFL you couldn't make it up!!
Another Update!!!: Came across someones point of view about this cyber spaced world where "everyone has tick sheets, deadlines, assumptions and closed views" and I totally agree with this and we should all be aware of the fact that a person is more then just ticking off a checklist.
Also I am still trying to decide whether a picture of someone sticking their tongue out is a turn on or a turn off!
and.....Another update!!: Please don't sprout your opinions if you cannot back your opinions up..I'm after intelligent conversations not conversations which I can have with chimpanzees!! Also if you cannot handle banter then please do not bother me..no seriously ..please don't
Also (sighs) if i delete messages its because I hate having an untidy inbox thats all..no hidden agenda like I don't want to talk to you or I think you a cow or anything like that : )
Also been told that my profile is the least inviting..probably..but at least its truthful .. and at least you know what you get.. a truthful man lol : ) a friend in need ..and sometimes, people just cannot handle that!
Also been told that my profile is one of the funniest!!! errr thank you, but I'm not Lee Evans : )
Thought for the day: it has kind of dawned on me that one of the first things I check on womens profiles is the length of their relationships? For me I prefer obviously the longer the better. But its ironic (again) there are women whose relationships are less then 5 years .. for example..and go on about players : ): )
Thought for the week: How is it whenever theres a photo of someone the mobile phone used to take the picture is more clearer then the person themselves..and I may add..also blocks the persons face!!!
New thought: Why is it as soon as someone adds you as a favourite then you rarely hear from that person again? or is it just me??
Another Thought: Why is it that after messaging it seems like you getting on really well with whoever you talking to, then after a couple of days it all stops??? Why is that?? It seems a very common theme on here and also highlights the sense of dispassionate empathy which is associated with online chatting. Apparently I got this gift of saying just the one wrong thing and thats it - I'm a jerk : )
Another (sighs) update: mobile phones : Please don't ask me for my mobile number, its not because I'm married or anything else so sinister : ) its just that I have had a couple of bad experiences on here and I now refuse to give my number out until after a couple of meetings, if you can't handle that then fine it saves the trouble later. In regards to meetings I always meet up somewhere where the woman knows (I have something called a Sat Nav) and I am always , always punctual : ) In regards to IM..the IM on here always plays up so please be patient : )
Apparently: Some people think that I am an upstanding member of the community, who holds a responsible job. That I do not take fools lightly and I can be fun and sexy?? My point is ...if you read between the lines of my profile it says this anyway : ): )

p.p.s if one more person, after the effort I put into my profile, ask me to tell them more about myself (especially if that person has written just a line about themselves)...I'm going to scream!!

okay then....hotel rooms do not spring to mind : ) ... a nice romantic stroll down the beach (in bare feet), feeling the soft grains of sand between the toes. Watching a horse gallop along the beach in all its freedom against the backdrop of the rising Sun...(yawns..)
