I'm not looking for casual dating anymore, or depressing long distance suckiness. I'm sick of being the only man in my time zone who's not already engaged/and/or committed to somebodty i can see more than once a month. So if you are ready for that, I'm yours!
I'm pretty awesome, but I'm an acquired taste. Don't be scared away by my rebellious teenager thing, it's a phase I'm going through. Basically missed out on being one so this is me trying to catch up. I just might dye my hair weird colors or suddenly decide to be a goth one day, then a prep the next. Don't let it frighten you, I just haven't figured out who i'm supposed to be yet.
I'm FOREVER a classic rock man and a music buff. If you'd rather make out to Journey or Van Halen than Beyonce or Celine Dion then then you just might be my dream girl. I'm also a huge art nerd and love computers. Ask me what I do for a living, it's pretty cool. Also like nature photography, walks in the park and quiet museums, but I'd go for the occasional Heavy Metal concert too. As far as the rest goes just ask. I'm a nice guy, I promise.
-I might come across as shy and a little antisocial when you first meet me, but that is an illusion. I'm actually very outgoing with people I'm comfortable around. I have what I call "first meeting anxiety", after the first contact that all goes away and I'm completely at ease. So don't let my initial awkwardness scare you away. I'm a nice guy, I promise. I don't talk on the phone a lot, I despise long distance dating. I tried it and it sucks.
Look, let's get down to business. I'm tired of all the bullshit. If you want someone for long term, I'm your dude. If you want a couple free drinks, a quick one night screw and a ticket back home, then please don't hesitate to get lost, unless you want to get sent back one piece at a time, in very small boxes. I have zero tolerance for that kind of person, my patience with that is gone. Cheat on me and I will be out of your life faster than you can blink. I'm done with that. Commitment is not a crime. Respect me and I will respect you.
I'm kind of at a loss for how to meet singles my age. I don't like the bar scene, I don't drink much, I hate nightclubs full of sweaty drunk college students and horrible music. So what does that leave? A trip to a museum, or maybe a romantic stroll thru a nice park where we can sit and talk and maybe make some art, and maybe have a photo shoot among the natural scenery :) Then go out for dinner at some nice restaurant. Then drive up to some high local vantage point and watch the sun go down over the landscape. Maybe it's old-fashioned but I am the retro type after all... Maybe some of you out there still go for the romantic stuff ;)
