So it's time to update my profile....
Soul-mates do exist the challenge is to find them.
If you are the type of person who puts as much into friendships as you hope to get out, have liberal values and are socially aware and are still reading this we may be off to a good start.
Life is full for me. I have a great job that uses a lot of my energy and recently became a home owner. However, I am not currently meeting interesting women and am giving POF a try.
Wilderness adventure is one of my greatest passions: I have canoed the Suwanee River in Florida, the Florida Everglades and several rivers in South Carolina, Have backpacked over 1000 miles in the Appalachians and Rocky Mountains and think that a log cabin in Whitehorse would be the perfect retirement destination. One of these years I plan to go back to Glacier National Park in Montana and camp at Hole in the Wall for the third time. If you have ever been there you will know what I am talking about. :)
I have also worked with at-risk youth at a wilderness camp. I would like to become involved with an NGO such as Relief International at some point but have not yet taken the opportunity.
