I just have to put this out there. I've noticed that many women write on their profiles that they like to laugh and have fun. Does this need to be stated or are there women out there that don't like to laugh or have fun ?
I'm originally from Vancouver. I have a variety of interests. I would consider myself to be an active person. I enjoy the outdoors but I can also see the value in a quiet evening at home. I've traveled a bit and I'd like to do a lot more. I have many interests although I am not fanatical about any of them. Life has a lot to offer and I'd like to experience as much of it as possible.
I'm looking to meet new people (dating, hang-out or friends). I am not necessarily looking for a long-term relationship, however, if I were to meet someone I would not shy away from one. I like intelligent, independent women with a good sense of humour and a great attitude. Someone that has the interest and time to travel would be preferred. I am straight forward and honest and I expect the same.
I've been on this site for awhile and met some interesting people. Although all my experiences have been positive ( no horror stories here ) I do not believe that you can get a good sense of who a person is by their profile and endless emails. If a profile was to catch my attention I would be more interested to meet for a drink or go for a walk rather than spend a couple of weeks exchanging emails.
I probably will not respond to any message that is not accompanied with a picture.
