About Me
I enjoy spending time outdoors: in the yard, at the dog park, at a lake, etc. I love movies of almost any genre, but can always go for either a good laugh or a good cry.
I teach middle school history and world studies/geography, so I stay quite busy most of the time, but I like to relax in my off time...which doesn't amount to much in the long run.
I spend time with my daughter, shopping, jogging several times a week, as well as going to movies and such (enjoying her until she gets deployed to Iraq next spring).
I am very independent and have no desire to smother or be smothered, though I am also quite nurturing (just ask my students!).
I like adventure, spontaneity, and travel, and though I have enjoyed these activities on my own, with my dog and/or my daughter, it would be nice to experience new things with a companion.
You should be honest (this is vital to me), self sufficient, and
interesting. I enjoy conversation regardless of the topic, so I need
someone to keep me on my toes. You also need a really good sense of humor...I love to laugh and your jokes don't even have to be good!
Playfulness is a big plus...I grew up with parents who tickled each
other all the time--it was great! Oh yes, and passion and sensuousness. This is
important! As well as romanticism. I'm NOT the flowers and candy type, I enjoy candle light and cuddling.
I hope there is someone out there who shares enough of my likes to give it a try. Let's become friends and see what happens!
