About Me
After years of soul-searching, I finally decided to pursue my dream of being a professional writer and now spend large amounts of my time either writing (or planning) screenplays and novels. I've even got a degree of respect for my work thus far, so I hope to make a career of it very soon. I'm also a music journalist, which is exciting at times.
I'd love to meet a girl who takes care of her appearance and can make me laugh, who can keep me interested in a conversation and who is as relaxed and fun-loving as I am. That said, I'm not really looking for a comedienne... They can be a troubled bunch!
When I'm not on writing, I can usually be found working behind a bar. On rare days off I generally enjoy relaxing with friends over a pint or going to gigs, but I'm quite content to spend time at home. When alone, I read to relax and it's extremely unusual for me to not be carrying a book at any given time.
I almost always have music playing. My tastes are quite eclectic and while I mostly stick to alternative rock, metal and RnB, I'm curious about your tastes and love to hear something new. I try and make it to at least one concert a week. I hope you love live music too!
I do enjoy sports, both watching and participating, though a knee injury makes it harder for me to compete these days. Favourite sports would be football, American football and boxing. Meeting a fellow sports fan would be ideal but if you don't like sports, it wouldn't be the end of the world.

First Date
As an ideal first date, I'd fly you to Aruba where we could talk, drink and laugh all night whilst enjoying walks on a white sandy beach. Unfortunately, I'm not made of money (sorry) but I promise something fun. Drinks, dinner and a show is always a timeless classic, right? I'm a pretty good cook, so I might even be able to be coaxed into cooking dinner, instead.
