I spend my free time playing games (Board games mostly, although I do like a game of Starcraft, as well as pen and paper games), going for walks, building nefarious gadgets with my equally geeky roommates, and drinking coffee. I am lost without coffee.

Right now I'm taking some time off of school, jumping around various crummy jobs to save money so that I can eventually get back to school in the next year or two.
I've been feeling the need to be creative as of late, and I'm trying to find a way to do that. Trouble is I have the art skills of a 4 year old, and don't seem to have a mind for song writing. Not sure where else to go with that.
While I am working a lot, I do manage to find lots of free time, and I'm always eager to find new people to share it with!

I'm quite good at listening and helping people. I consider myself a very easy person to talk to, and my friends know they can trust me when they need someone to talk to.
I'm also quite good at board games, card games, video games, billiards, bowling, and never getting stressed out about anything.

I'm not very good at music, but I try to sing and play guitar anyway. I'll get it someday!

I've never asked, but I'd imagine something to do with the fact that I never know what to wear in a situation. I tend to be either over or under-dressed for whatever I'm doing. Although lately I've been leaning towards over-dressing, that way I at least look classy while being out of place.

Across the Universe, Snatch, Boondock Saints, The Princess Bride, Big Fish, Monty Python and the Holy Grail, anything with Bruce Campbell in it, most anything by Tim Burton.

Seafood, especially Lobster.

Jack White (The White Stripes and The Raconteurs), Matt Good, The Sam Roberts Band, Huey Lewis and the News, all the standard classic rock legends (Beatles, The Who, Eagles, Stones, etc). Local Halifax indie rock.

First Date
Anything quiet enough to have a good chat, but with enough background noise to cancel out the inevitable first date awkward silences. Busy coffee shop or downtown restaurant are the standards for a good reason. You can get creative with the 2nd date when it comes!
I should also note that I am actually serious about meeting people on here. I have in the past, and from it I've have a couple of nice relationships that I was very happy with. I'm not shy to meet people in town for a coffee/bite to eat, you can never tell if you'll mesh with someone over a couple of emails.
