Right, so this is odd.
I like dancing, so I'll generally be caught dancing on a stage or up front and centre at a concert. Too many people stand around with their arms crossed. Stop being so cool and have fun!
I like tea. And I like it to the point where I have specifics about how to prepare it and when to add milk. I recently cut dairy out of my diet, and my tea drinking has not been the same. Milk makes it tasty. I also really love milk. I love chugging a really cold glass of milk. And I really don't understand how people cannot like it. It's so refreshing, and so much tastier than water!
I like singing in the car. And added to that, I really love driving. I like the freedom and having my own music blasting. I also get a little flustered if I want to listen to a song, and I turn it up, and someone in my car decides that it's time to start a conversation. And I'm not a rude person, so I would never actually tell them that, but it festers inside. I prefer to drive alone. I live downtown so I shouldn't drive at all, but screw it. I have a lot of friends who claim they don't need a car, but then who do they call? Exactly.
I like strange movies. The weirder, the better. I watched Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist this week and I felt my brain capacity shrink. Maybe if I was 15 I would have appreciated it. Then I watched Twilight. Please see the previous sentence. If it doesn't make me think, or feel, I hate it. The last movies I saw that I loved were In Bruges and Control.
I like skinny jeans. Maybe because I look better in them. But on guys I think they're sexy.
I like England. My family are from there and I have a massive attachment to its culture. I miss Sunday dinners like the deserts miss the rain.
I buy way too many cds. I've recently taken to stacking them with my dvds. I've recently been listening to Ghostland Observatory, Joy Division and Kasabian. The best album I've bought in the past year would have to be In Rainbows. I'm really looking forward to the new Muse album.
I love music festivals. I went to Voodoo in October, and Coachella in April.
I like good conversation. If people can enlighten me with anything I'm happy. I love to laugh, and sarcasm and cleverness are among the top personality traits that I need in people.
I enjoy reading. The books I just finished are Snuff, Patti Boyd's book, and I'm With the Band (terrible). I am reading Lullaby now. Yes, I am a pop culture junkie.
I want to meet someone with similar interests, and someone who can teach me, enlighten me, and make me laugh!!!
Do not message me if you have your shirt off, or if you are standing in front of your sweet ride. I don't care. This isn't to say that I disagree with your tastes, but I deduce that we would have absolutely nothing in common.
