Hello, fellow POFer...
Sometimes it's too easy to get wrapped up in everyday living, which leads to forgetting to get out there and meet good people. Are you good people? I'm good people.
I'm a quiet, fairly laid back person who loves a good laugh, and I can be dead serious when required - although I'd rather see the humour in the everyday silliness of life. I have a fairly stressful job (the middle one, in the 'profession' block up top) which I diffuse by being involved in the arts, be it through painting, sculpture, or volunteering at live theatre venues. If I can't create, I stagnate.
I really enjoy hearing of a new-to-me author who has a trove of books to discover; I like music of any genre, but have a particular fondness for classical and ambient (think B Tribe or Enigma). I'm not a fitness nut: Yoga once or twice a week is enough to bring me back to centre, and to keep me in relatively decent shape. Winter will bring about the return of the weekly x-country ski-dinner over in the Gatineau Hills, so "I'm good" for exercise.
I prefer small gatherings over large crowds, and like having small intimate dinner parties for friends. I try to eat well; I definitely don't eat a lot of garbage food. I'm more herbivore than carnivore, although a nicely done filet at Social is never out of the question.
I appreciate who and what I have in my life and am never about accumulation for its own sake.
