About Me
PLEASE DO NOT CONTACT ME IF YOU HAVEN'T READ MY PROFILE, THANK YOU. DO NOT CLICK ON TO THE 'MEET ME', I WON'T RESPOND TO PEOPLE WHO CAN'T, OR WON'T, WRITE A MESSAGE'. I won't respond to any message where it's clear you haven't read my profile.. what's the point?

PLEASE read and understand the profile... I take it seriously and I've put a lot of thought into it. This is WHO I AM, and what I like and dislike. It's non-negotiable. I don't have time for those whom I have nothing in common with.

I'm an agnostic atheist and sometime anti-theist.

I like: shiny things and witty reparté, really good coffee, Macs, open minds and stimulating conversation, freedom, nature, cats, unusual people, music, spontaneousness, rebels with a cause, wind and storms, self expression, curiosity, minimalism, Starbucks, good literature, pagan and alternative festivals, punk, post punk, new wave, darkwave, goth and industrial, Doc Martens, courage on all levels, ethics, creativity, alternative anything, dark stuff, adventurousness, original thought, tattoos, body art, people who live outside the box, art that evokes a response, musicians, scientists, entrepreneurs, thinkers and philosophers.

Can you engage my mind?

I dislike: boring and vague profiles, country music, classic rock(not hate - just sick of it), pop, corp rock, most radio, pro sports, baseball caps, sheeple, cottages and the saying "Up North", bad grammar, Oprah, celebrities, shopping, talking on the phone, mainstream media, marriage, stupidity, the word, 'should', the word, 'normal', liars, conformity, unexamined lives, unexamined beliefs, consumerism, hunting, fishing, rednecks, fairytale romance crap, commercialism, wal-mart, pro wrestling (sic), most tv, macho attitudes, dumbasses, huge trucks, homophobia, bigotry, racism, christmas, organized religion, jealousy, possessiveness, unexamined traditional values, 9 to 5 suburban lifestyles, fear.

Are you afraid to be who you really are? Do you know who you really are? Are you concerned with what other people think? Do you embarrass easily?

All this stuff is important to me - or I wouldn't have put it here. I'm complicated. That said I have a wicked sense of humour and I'm strange in a kooky sort of way. Laughter is important

If you think the twin towers were brought down by Iraqi flight students with box cutters - keep moving. If you know better ...but don't care, drop me a line - we'll probably get along. :)

"Plenty of people did not care for him much, but then there is a huge difference between disliking somebody -- maybe even disliking them a lot -- and actually shooting them, strangling them, dragging them through the fields and setting their house on fire. It was a difference which kept the vast majority of the population alive from day to day."
~ Douglas Adams

"I have never let my schooling interfere with my education."
~ Mark Twain

"Only two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity, and I'm not sure about the former."
~ Albert Einstein

"Religion has convinced people that there’s an invisible man…living in the sky, who watches everything you do every minute of every day. And the invisible man has a list of ten specific things he doesn’t want you to do. And if you do any of these things, he will send you to a special place, of burning and fire and smoke and torture and anguish for you to live forever, and suffer and burn and scream until the end of time. But he loves you. He loves you and he needs money."
~ George Carlin

Wit has truth in it; wisecracking is simply calisthenics with words.
~ Dorothy Parker

Life can be wildly tragic at times, and I've had my share. But whatever happens to you, you have to keep a slightly comic attitude. In the final analysis, you have got to not forget to laugh.
~ Katharine Hepburn

First Date
Going through the drive-thru at McDonalds and ordering Whoppers, on foot. Getting matching tattoos of Elmer Fudd. Starting a popcorn fight at a movie...Interviewing random people on the street.

Just kidding... maybe ;)
