I'm a very old school romantic. I believe in courting (I'm a lady and expect to be treated as one); I believe in respect and in true, passionate love. I want a man to love passionately, fully, and completely. Someone with whom I can share everything. Now, quick, who wrote it? Chances are it wasn't me, but one day I would like for my name to be in the credits of a Hollywood movie. Yes, I am a writer. No, I am not a starving artist. I have a regular job too. I am still attending graduate school to get my phD in English and Film; I'll be finished in Dec. of 2015. Regardless of my "day job," I know my passion is writing, but I do love my day job.
I am a romantic soul. I believe that there is someone out there for everyone. The problem is some people, like myself, find a bad casting manager and it takes us a little longer to find the one we belong with. I have been told I am a little bit stubborn, but it's nothing you can't handle. I just seem to get tunnel-vision when working and have a hard time giving up on an idea. Maybe you can pull me away from it?
I'm not just the geeky English nerd you have pictured, promise (but, I do love Star Trek, so we're back to the nerd thing again). I love to watch football and keep engaged in political discussions. I can talk about more than just Shakespeare and Poe, honest.
What am I looking for in my "leading man?" Honesty. Romance. Humor.
This starring role would have a sense of humor, a love for football (okay, at least an interest) and a love for his family, because I would like for him to value family ties in the same way that I do.
I can be a little shy at first, which can come off as being "stuck up", but once you get to know me, and help me out of my shell, you will see the fun-loving, romantic, creative woman that I am.
I think it would be nice to go somewhere we can talk on a first date. A quiet coffee shop, a little cafe no one knows about or anywhere else the conversation is good and the time endless.
Above all though, I seek a man who has dreams, goals and a sense of what it important in life. Does this sound like you? I'm looking for someone to share my life, my dreams and my heart with....hopefully this is you.
