I'm a complicated person, but then again who isn't? I have a serious side, a funny side, a studious side, a playful side, an abititious side, a lazy side, a quiet side, a talkative side, an adventerous side, and a romantic side. I think its really interesting how all of us are many different people based on who we're with and what situation they're in. I think the best way to judge if someone is "the one" is if you feel comfortable exposing your entire self to them, and they are also able to expose their entire self to you.
As far as my perfect match goes, I'm looking for a best friend, confidante, and companion. I'd like to find someone who likes to do the same things as I do, has the same goals for the future, and wants share her life with me. I'm looking for someone that can communicate what they want and need and is able to understand and my lawyerly tendency to consider arguing a point (whether major or minor) to be somewhat of a sport and disagree with me without being disagreeable/getting upset about it.
If there are major roadblocks standing in the way of your relationship, it is best to deal with them head-on now, rather than in the future. Life is too short to play games, and if you like or love someone, let them know it, and if you don't, be honest about that too. Everyone has their quirks/flaws, and if you can love someone for their quirks/flaws as well as their strengths, then you've found your match.
Conversation Starters (i.e. what you'd like to do on a first date...)
My idea of a perfect date is a relaxing afternoon or evening where we get to know each other and can't wait to see each other again. Sometimes it's nice to have a less formal first date like a walk in the park rather than doing "dinner and a movie".
