Hey, you there, let’s talk. What about? You and I! Sure, I’ll go first.
My name is Robert, nice to meet you. I’m 24 and live in southern California. Funny? Yeah, I’m not a comedian, but I can always get a few laughs. I’m usually outgoing and like to talk to strangers. Up until a year ago I wouldn’t describe my self as confident but since then I have greatly improved. Of course, there are still the occasional insecurities but for the most part I keep them in check.
I have many interests but my values are what really define me. I’m into compassion, optimism, generosity, honesty and communication. Promoting liberty is something else I strongly believe in. I am a libertarian and I am proud of it. Some people don't understand it, some do not like it, but I think it's a very good thing. I think the more liberty-minded we become, the better off the world will be. To learn how to aid in promoting liberty I have started to read books on economics, politics, law, and history. As the companion to those I seek to continuously open my mind. To learn about other cultures, religions, beliefs and to expand my base of knowledge. To be fair to all people and interact with them based only on their values and actions rather than race, gender, age, nationality or any other superficial classifier. Because of this I am a very unconventional/non-traditional type of person in many ways, but it is all in favor of goodwill. This is something that both intrigues and motivates me. Within the last year the desire to travel has grown in me. I want to see the world.
Some other things about me? As corny and cliche as it is, I am very much into romance. Yeah, I know, "everyone is", but I really am. It may sound like an oxymoron, but I would like to think of myself as a realist romantic. I want a family, close friends and a love that brings me to my knees and gives me the strength to get back up. But I realize that they aren’t as abundant as the movies show and require pursuit and dedication.
