About Me
I guess I'm just looking for what a lot of women are looking for. A man who is loyal, trustworthy, dedicated, and responsible (well at least as responsible as me). Plus I like someone who is calm and patient. I don’t like being around someone who has a lot of mood swings. One person having PMS in a relationship is enough and I pull rank.
I am a little shy when I first meet people but pretty good at hiding it so at least seem very nice and outgoing. Once someone gets to know me really well they see I'm talkative, kind, generous, affectionate, and have a good sense of humour. Even when I really dislike someone I can usually still see their good sides. I might avoid them like the plague but I still see their good sides.
I'm not much of a bar goer unless it’s with a group of friends/colleagues on the odd occasion. I'd much rather go to a small house party than a big bash. I enjoy watching movies, documentaries, camping, playing games (like card games not head ones), going for walks in the woods (provided I have someone to protect me against bears), sitting around campfires, and photography. Once in a blue moon I'll get the urge to paint/sketch some pictures too. I only get into the internet in spurts that last a couple of weeks and I’m in one of those spurts now. I work on a computer all day; I go long periods where at the end of the day I just want to unplug so would prefer not to be with a complete internet junkie. Not trying to slam internet junkies, some of my closest friends are (well were until we stopped talking because I don’t text) and if you still want to provide me with a free copy of Adobe Photoshop with no strings attached fine…I just don’t want to have to play footsies under a desk with two comps on it while we msn each other just so we can have a conversation.
I don't have a lot of patience for drama. I believe it was Einstein who defined insanity as doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results. We all have little patterned behaviors it’s just some of us don't let our patterns drool over those around them while in complete denial that they keep putting themselves through the same things repeatedly. When I have had an issue with these types it’s usually because they are looking to judge others patterns rather than take a good look at their own. Or maybe it’s just my pattern to think so? ...bah! it’s still annoying.
My long term goals are to keep my job in this economy and maybe sometime settle in a little house surrounded by trees with enough land for a couple of dogs to stay out of trouble on. Right now I have 1 dog, the cutest Beagle you have ever seen, and a cat that is anti-social so you forget he’s here. I definitely do not want to retire in the city. I’m here because this is where the work is.
I think what makes me a little different is my creativity. I’ll often show my appreciation to those around me through creativity like at work when we went 39 days without sun I made pics of the sun with happy faces on it for my co-workers and posted them in all the cubicle windows or like when my neighbour thought it funny to build a snowman in middle of my driveway and I went out later in the middle of the night to build a snow slut complete with heels and fishnets on his lawn with a big sign saying “you make me so hot I could melt”. It’s a little thing but I’d like to think in my relationships these little things I do made it a funner place to be.

First Date
coffee or go somewhere pretty where we could have a couple of drinks and talk. Just a chance to meet and get to know each other a little better before any sparks fly.
