About Me
Quiet but bright gal 68 wants to meet nice/smart/older man (67+) who has interests in many topics - both "inside and outside the wire". I'm looking for a friend to do interesting/fun things with. I'm not much of a "chatty-cathy" but I like to talk about the issues and concepts that are challenging; I'm not a "tree-hugger".
I grew up in the country but spent my young adult years living/working in Ontario. Then I lived in Hfx area for 20 years ..and now retired, I'm back in the country... some days, it is too far back in the country... but at least it is at the beach. I'm the eternal optimist always looking for the bright side of every situation;. I believe, though, that I look at things realistically.
I seek a partner who neither wants to control or be controlled but who wants a help-mate and wants to be a help-mate in the quest to live well and happily. I seek a mate who can admire and be admired and whose mating objective is to meet in the middle to contribute to each other's joy in living - if the chemistry is right for us both.
Please note : One photo was taken in the fall of 2002 thus I am now a few years older and 10 pounds heavier, the other shot was taken March 2011.
