Hello delightful people! Welcome to my profile!! Maybe I should start by telling you something about myself.. I moved to Vancouver from the island ( and by "island" I mean Vancouver island) just a little shy of 3 years ago. I'm definitely a free spirit, I believe in love and peace, and always see the best in people....some people have told me i'm compassionate to a fault, but I would much rather have my heart hurt every time I see someone down on their luck, or a homeless person on the street then walk by with cool indifference. . I am a very happy go lucky kind of gal, I find amusement in the most ordinary of things. It's not uncommon to find me laughing my tush off on the kitchen floor because something about the salad tongs struck me as funny! I adore reading and I'll pretty much try anything once. I love being outside, from hiking to dirt bike riding and all in between, and I love movies (except gory ones... I'd probably pass out.. which is ironic, seeing as im going to school to be a midwife... but thats a beautiful type of gross *laugh* :D)
I think that one of my most favorite things to do is to go walking in the rain and jump in puddles, or hang out around a campfire making s'mores! love to cook, my kitchen is where I'm at home. I'm a pretty random girl ( In the best possible sense of the word)..so you had better be creative and able to keep up :p
I love to laugh, and have fun ( big surprise there..), I'll do anything once. I absolutely love the theatre, every and all parts of it, from performing to watching I drink it all in. I also love children, they’re my passion, I've been either a full time nanny or camp counselor for the last 5 years of my life and it is one of the most rewarding things I have ever done. I wasn't sure what to write for this, I mean how do you describe yourself without looking self absorbed, so I asked a friend and she said that she would describe my as the "Slightly quirky, environment saving hippie, computer confused girl next door" Not exactly what I was looking for but ok, so with that in mind I would describe myself and the "slightly quirky, environment saving hippie, computer confused, girl next door" with a twist :). I play the piano and I am attempting to learn how to play the guitar,( I can already play "jingle bells" and " old mcdonald had a farm"!....don't laugh, it's a fact i'm very proud of) and I also fence ( You know like swash, swish, arrr matey type fencing ) and paint. I'm very approachable ( or at least I would like to think so) and very friendly....so don't be shy! I am always looking for new friends and new adventures!
Ramdom facts about myself:
