About Me
So, I guess I'll start off by telling you I am kind, genuine, loyal, intelligent, dedicated and passionate. I love animals, I have 4(two dogs, two cats). I value the same qualities in the people around me.

I have a wicked memory and that's usually a useful thing! It remembers important dates like, Birthdays, Exams and anniversaries and useless things like Jay Baruschel's current hairdo/facedo. And also fun facts like how Like how cheese is the most stolen food in the world(can't say I blame them!), or that human thigh bones are stronger than concrete. Or how to solve the crisis in the middle east. (Yes, I'm kidding about that last one).

I love nature documentaries and learning about the world around me in general. It's important to me to discover how things and people work. I'm very good at noticing small cues in others. I'm mostly a sponge for information of any sort. Nature, politics, even celebrity news/pop culture(though I try not to bring that one up in conversation ;)). That is to say that I do my best to uncover he truth about a subject before coming to an opinion. I like to look at the whole picture rather than just a couple of snapshots. I believe it is the key to understanding, and to happiness!

I prefer to spend time with my friends, or my significant other when possible, taking in the simplest joys in life. Firepits, cozying up for a great movie(I've seen most of the mainstream ones, I prefer something that makes you think. Actually, even not regarding movies I prefer things that make one think). Or a comedy club, or even just a nice pub with friends is a great way to spend the evening.

I love soft and warm beds. With oversized comforters that we can get lost in. I want someone to enjoy these things with and who will be glad to participate. What I want to find most is my partner in all things. Crime and sexy punishment! And everything in between!

Finally, I'm happy to tell you I have no children, I've never been married, I have no history of substance abuse. I've got a good head on my shoulders.

I love fishing, dog parks, horses and the outdoors. If you have an excuse to do any of the above, please drop me a line!
What I’m doing with my life
Oh I started school! How fantastic! Little late, but better late than never, sometimes life hands you curveballs. I value education, and I value sticking with whatever passion you have, even if its a long and winding road. Curious? I've been into science and animals my whole life(as far back as I have memory) and so, as you may have guessed I am taking courses towards Pre-Veterinary Medicine. It's been a long time coming, but sometimes life is funny that way.

I decided to ask myself what I would do if I won the lottery, and no matter what variation I thought of, the one constant was this, this passion in my life and so here I am(but without the winning the lottery part!;)).
I’m really good at
Making friends
Training Creatures
Appreciating any kind of humour
Perfect Dark(or FPS's in general)
Board/Card Games
Most Video Games
Finding bargains(I paid less than half price for my textbooks!)
Looking at the big picture.
Critical thinking
The first things people usually notice about me
Typically the first thing is my chest. They are hard to miss and i love low cut shirts, in all fairness.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: Sabine and Griffin series by Nick Bantock. Lots of non fiction books. Like "Food Pets Die For". "Down To This" by Shaunessy Bishop Stall, Columbine by Dave Cullen.

Movies: Almost anything. I love The Lion King(seriously ravenously) and The Muppet Christmas Carol and the romantic side of me loves The Notebook, Serendipity and My Best Friends Wedding, but I'm also a fan of thriller movies like Final Destination. I also appreciate continuity, so things like the Mighty Ducks trilogy, Serenity, Back to The Future, are great in my books. Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, The Butterfly Effect(but not the sequel, blech). Really as previously mentioned, I probably am most drawn to non fiction. That does not include "reality television" just to be clear. ;)

Music: Mostly top 40, but also opera, choral music, and musicals! I tend to listen to songs that move me lyrically. Happy, sad or otherwise. They just seem to mean the most.

Food: Cheese, mushrooms, olives, soup, strawberries, pasta, tomatoes, perogies and lobster.

Shows: Have I mentioned that I LOVE Doctor Who? I also love cute nerdy men that also love Doctor Who!
I also will download and watch, Dexter, Criminal Minds, How I Met your Mother, Drop Dead Diva, and Greys Anatomy if or when the chance arises. Yes I do have a TV (big and beautiful) but not cable. I have a special penchant for comedy. In Canada things like This Hour has 22 minutes. Anything that can take daily goings on in our country and turn them into a tongue and cheek half serious rant/gag, is right up my alley!
The six things I could never do without
So apparently it's totally POSSIBLE to live without these things(except the sun for long stretches of time) but I think the point is more that who would want to??

My dogs
Great sex
A warm bed
My iphone
The sun
I spend a lot of time thinking about
The fact that I just left my job and started classes at U of W! Wild.
Where in the world IS Carmen San Diego?
Your face.
On a typical Friday night I am
Usually cleaning up, or out to a lovely dinner with friends, as I tend to only get a couple days off of work, so I use my nights carefully. As long as its warm enough, a trip to the dog park is my favorite way to celebrate TGIF
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I'm writing this and hoping to date with the goal of getting over another person.

I had an online diary before it was cool. 14 years and counting on Opendiary.com, nearly half my life! It's also easy to find me if you know the right username. You know, in case you're into knowing a lifetime of secrets and random thoughts or ramblings of a complete stranger. Whatever floats your boat I guess!
