About Me

So, I guess I'll start off by telling you I am kind, genuine, bubbly, loyal, intelligent, outgoing, dedicated, passionate and compassionate. I love animals, I have a dog, 2 cats and 2 small birds.

I hold near and dear, the principle of becoming a better human being. In any way possible. Not perfect, but better! Whether that is ultimately for the world, for myself, for my community or to be a better life partner, all are worthy things to attain. I value the same qualities in the people around me.

I have a wicked memory and that's usually a useful thing! It remembers important dates like, birthdays, exams and anniversaries and useless things like Jay Baruschel's current hairdo/facedo. And also fun facts like how cheese is the most stolen food in the world(can't say I blame them!), or that human thigh bones are stronger than concrete.

I love nature documentaries and learning about the world around me in general. It's important to me to discover how things and people work. I like road trips, and I adore Doctor Who. I'm mostly a sponge for information of any sort. Nature, politics, even celebrity news/pop culture(though I try not to bring that one up in conversation ;)). That is to say that I do my best to uncover he truth about a subject before coming to an opinion. I like to look at the whole picture rather than just a couple of snapshots. I believe it is the key to understanding, being a big picture and critical thinker, these are important qualities to me as well.

I love soft and warm beds. With oversized comforters that we can get lost in. I want someone to enjoy these things with and who will be glad to participate. What I want to find most is my partner in all things. Crime and sexy punishment! And everything in between!

I enjoy fishing, dog parks, board games, video games, horses and the outdoors. If you have an excuse to partake in any of the above, please drop me a line! I'd like to find someone to be able to explore the outdoors with;, hike, teach me to fly-fish, go kayaking, and let me bring a dog or two. ;) I want a partner who wants to get out an do something, and when I ask if they'd like to join me they more often than not, agree and are game for any adventure.

I am looking for a really good man. An honest caring intelligent individual who is a great communicator and lover of laughter.

Oh I started school! How fantastic! Little late, but better late than never, sometimes life hands you curveballs. I value education, and I value sticking with whatever passion you have, even if its a long and winding road. Curious? I've been into science and animals my whole life(as far back as I have memory) and so, as you may have guessed I am taking courses towards Pre-Veterinary Medicine. It's been a long time coming, but sometimes life is funny that way.

I decided to ask myself what I would do if I won the lottery, and no matter what variation I thought of, the one constant was this, this passion in my life and so here I am(but without the winning the lottery part!;)).

I’m really good at
Making friends
Being a friend worth having
solving Rubik's cubes
Singing
Loving
Training Creatures
Snuggling
Appreciating any kind of humour
Perfect Dark(or FPS's in general)
Board/Card Games
Most Video Games
Learning
Finding bargains(I paid less than half price for my textbooks!)
Looking at the big picture.
Critical thinking

Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food....
Books: Sabine and Griffin series by Nick Bantock. Lots of non fiction books. Like "Food Pets Die For". "Down To This" by Shaunessy Bishop Stall, "Columbine" by Dave Cullen.

Movies: I love The Lion King(seriously ravenously) and The Muppet Christmas Carol and the romantic side of me loves The Notebook, Serendipity and My Best Friends Wedding, but I'm also a fan of thriller movies like Final Destination. I also appreciate continuity, so things like the Mighty Ducks trilogy, Serenity, Back to The Future, are great in my books. Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, The Butterfly Effect(but not the sequel, blech). Really as previously mentioned, I probably am most drawn to non fiction. That does not include "reality television" just to be clear. ;)

Music: Anything beautiful. Opera, choral music, and musicals! I tend to listen to songs that move me lyrically. They just seem to mean the most. I also love african tribal music. and coffee house music, as long as it moves me. It's really difficult for me to narrow down music taste.

Food: Cheese, mushrooms, olives, soup, strawberries, pasta, tomatoes, perogies and lobster.

Shows: Have I mentioned that I LOVE Doctor Who? and Cosmos. It makes me really like Seth McFarlene, 3
I also will download and watch, Orange Is The New Black, Dexter, Criminal Minds, The Big Bang Theory, How I Met your Mother, Drop Dead Diva, and Greys Anatomy if or when the chance arises. Yes I do have a TV (big and beautiful) but not cable. I have a special penchant for comedy. In Canada things like This Hour has 22 minutes or the Rick Mercer Report. Anything that can take daily goings on in our country and turn them into a tongue and cheek half serious rant/gag, is right up my alley! I suppose the American equivalent would the The Daily Show or Colbert Report, which I also enjoy but don't follow as closely.

The six things I could never do without...
So apparently it's totally POSSIBLE to live without these things but I think the point is more that who would want to??

My dog
Nature
Great sex
A warm bed
My iPhone
Hot baths

I spend a lot of time thinking about....
-The fact that I just left my job and started University! Wild!
-What Rob Ford would do. (WWRFD)
-How to tell DNA and RNA apart.
-How to move on to Plan B in life.
-How Hottubs sooth the soul

The most private thing I’m willing to admit...
If I really like you, the secret is not in my kiss. Persay. ;)
I’m looking for

You should message me if you feel like it!
Or if you have a pet chicken, or goat, or a Mogwai, because I have one! Or any creature really. Sorry, your very impressive chest hair doesn't count! ;)
You want to check out a play/concert/symphony/exhibition and need someone to go with.
