For right now I am not going to go into detail here until I've had some time to think about it. I will update this within the week. The little squeek tells me that I have to make this longer so here I go. Really I think that filling this out should be done with more care and consideration so I stand firm on not going into details at this time. Hope this is long enough to get me online. Let see.
My all time favorite place that I like to share with others is the Huntington Gardens/Library and Gallery. It is in San Marino, just south of Pasadena.
There are numerous gardens to walk among. The Japanese Garden is my favorite. The whole grounds exudes and an atmosphere that is conducive to both conversation and the comfort of shared silence.
There is also an amazing library with books that go back as far the 1.400's. They have the original folios of Shakespeare, the Gutenberg Bible and Chaucer's 'Canterbury Tales' and a master set of the Dead Sea Scrolls on microfilm.
The Art Gallery is also interesting.
There is also a place called the Rose Garden Tea Room that is fun to take in. Very British.
Check it out for yourself even if it isn't with me at http://www.huntington.org
