My likes includes computers, science fiction, alternative health, and a growing interest in the current British music ranging from blues rock, heavy metal, progressive rock, hard rock, punk rock, electric folk, folk punk, acid jazz, shoegaze, drum and bass, grime, Britpop and dubstep.
Only from the musical aspect I enjoy Amy Winehouse (soul, R&B, jazz) & Duffy (blue-eyed soul, pop, rock), Katie Melua (blues, jazz, folk-pop), Kate Nash (indie pop, indie rock), and Lily Allen (2 tone, indie pop, grime, ska, alternative rock). I also like the Beatles (I know most of their songs by heart).
My newest favorite American bands are Dengue Fever, Alison Krauss & Union Station, Karla Devito.
I enjoy a few song by Eva Avila (Canadian Idol 2006 winner). Overall though, AOV is my generic genre for music. I can tolerate most music, even bhangra, Asian, S.E. Asian music, but will mellow out listening to Taize.
If you have played a musical instrument, then I will let you know that I know how to read music, and have played the acoustic guitar (nylon) for 15 years since 1976.
I also am creating my own electronic music, and posting them on my youtube account.

I like the spiritually uplifting, forever the optimist with rare pessimism. life is too short to feel down. My interests consist of tai chi, dance, listening to different music, mostly asian pop. I like to make friends with interesting women who are honest, caring and intelligent. They must be on their life path towards spiritual excellence as well.
